According to a
Pittsburgh Post Gazette article published on January 17, 2007, the vacancy rate for office space in Pittsburgh increased in 2006 to 20% compared to 17.7% at the end of 2005.
The vacancy rate for Pittsburgh office space is comparable to Detroit but is far short of metropolitan areas like Philadelphia, Boston and Miami. (Perhaps the fact that Pittsburgh was once again voted "Most Livable City" in 2007 will have an impact on these figures.) The article claims that one reason for the declining occupancy in the downtown area is the increasing tendency of businesses to relocate outside of the city.
Interestingly, the article indicates that the Parkway West corridor has the greatest vacancy rate of all the Pittsburgh suburbs. This is surprising considering the fact that the West offers the easiest access to Pittsburgh International Airport as well as one of the best rush hour routes to downtown via Route 65.

With this option, you would receive exterior signage for your business, as well as access to the conference rooms, audio-video equipment and internet access.
Business Presence (Work from Home)Another scenario which would match up very well with what we have to offer is the small business which operates principally from home. The idea of working from home can be very compelling; however, what happens when it comes time for a business meeting? You may be reluctant to hold business meetings at home for obvious reasons. For a modest monthly fee, we can offer exterior signage for your business as well as conference room access; we do not require that you also lease an office.
